We are on the lookout for some bright new faces! We are hiring for a Retail Sales Associate to work at our Mueller Lake Park location and Production Baker!

Hey Cupcake Retailer Position

Hey Cupcake! began spreading smiles out of a Vintage 1967 Airstream Trailer on South Congress Ave. in 2007. Fast forward years later and we have grown to now offer delivery, catering services, & more! We pride ourselves in baking fresh daily, and are looking to expand our Cupcake Retail Team as we grow!

We are seeking enthusiastic, self-managing problem solvers who want to create magical delicious experiences for our customers and loyal fans. Our Cupcake Retailers must be able to work independently, have great communication skills, and have reliable transportation! Available positions are part time with flexible scheduling. Hourly Base Pay + Sweet Tips!

 

Duties Include:

  • Welcoming/Assisting Customers in finding their favorite Hey Cupcake! choice
  • Fulfilling Walk-in Customer Orders & Inputting Orders into POS system/3rd Party Tablets
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Folding bakery boxes and Organizing inventory
  • Trailer Cleanliness Upkeep
  • Placing daily inventory orders with Mgmt and restocking/organizing inventory in Retail area
  • Communication via email or text with upper management on day to day issues

 

Qualifications:

  • Recommended : HS Diploma / GED Equivalent
  • Food Handlers Certification (Certified thru the City of Austin)
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent customer service and a Sales-driven, positive attitude
  • Money Handling Experience (or a passion to learn!)

Hey Cupcake Production Baker

Hey Cupcake! began spreading smiles out of a Vintage 1967 Airstream Trailer on South Congress Ave. in 2007. Fast forward years later and we have grown to 2 Airstream locations.  We will soon be opening a brick and mortar location, and now offer delivery, catering services, & more! We pride ourselves in baking fresh daily and are looking to expand our Baking Team as we grow!

We cater small and large events as well as special occasions. This is a high volume production line type of bakery. Baking staff must be motivated, able to work independently at times and have effective communication skills. Some knowledge of kitchen practices are a plus, but not required. We are a teaching kitchen, so if you have a passion for pastries and a willingness to learn, this is the position for you!
In addition to cupcakes, we are developing a breakfast line that you will have a hand in creating!
In this position you will handle the baking of cupcakes and maintain quality control throughout the baking process. Must be comfortable working with commercial ovens, standing for 8 hours, and able to lift 50 lbs. Position may start out part time but grow to full time. Hours are overnight starting at 10pm.
